What we use

CritPath AI uses only a minimal set of strictly necessary and functional cookies and browser storage, plus one third-party product and traffic analytics provider (HeyCatch, described below). We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site ad-tracking cookies.

• Authentication / session — session and auth tokens that keep you signed in and maintain a secure session (essential).
• Security — CSRF / anti-abuse tokens that protect your account and the Service (essential).
• Preferences — interface settings (e.g., layout/theme) stored in local storage (functional).
• Analytics — we use HeyCatch, a third-party product and traffic analytics provider, to understand how visitors find and use this website so we can improve it. HeyCatch may set a cookie or use similar browser storage (such as a visitor or session identifier) and processes limited technical data (for example pages viewed and approximate location derived from your IP address). It is not used for advertising or cross-site ad tracking. You can limit it through your browser settings (see “How to control cookies” below); if you are in a region that requires prior consent for analytics, you may block these cookies in your browser until a consent control is offered.

The strictly necessary and functional cookies and storage above do not require prior consent in most jurisdictions. Analytics (HeyCatch) is not strictly necessary; where your local law requires prior consent for analytics cookies, you can decline by blocking these cookies in your browser until we offer a consent control.

How to control cookies

• Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in or using core features.
• Sign out. Signing out clears your session token.
